WHO CAN WRITE FOR XR?
Anyone! It doesn’t matter if you are a seasoned VR writer or if you’ve never even worn a headset. We are looking for amazing writers to nurture into the next generation of XR storytellers.
Immersive mediums are reinventing storytelling and provoking creators to think differently. In 2016, the animated short, Pearl became the first VR film to be nominated for an academy award. This year, famed director, Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s VR installation, Carne y Arena (Virtually Present, Physically Invisible) won a special Academy Award. Immersive storytelling offers a chance for deeper narrative exploration and experience.
We aim to fill the storytelling void that technologists and immersive producers often have.
HOW DO I WRITE FOR XR?
Now is the time to make a mark in XR. We can break rules and explore the limitless potential immersive mediums offer.
